TIBET EXPLORATION TOUR

Hidden away on the high plateaus beyond the majestic Himalayas, Tibet is located up near the heavens in so many ways. With the capital of Lhasa as a base, tours travel to nearby monasteries to explore their ancient history and mingle with the resident monks as well as venture out into the more remote regions to explore the natural treasures that lie deep in the mountains and high plains. Given the extreme elevation, slow and steady is a good pace for this region.

Additional destinations in Tibet may be added to expand your exploration of the area. The capital of Lhasa tends to be a central focal point with excursions possible to neighboring areas. For two or three day excursions, accommodations will be in smaller cities with more basic hotels or in villages and camps that will be much more rustic than the hotels in Lhasa. Please contact us to check out the options for excursions to other fascinating sights outside of Lhasa.
